Geriatric Objectives:
- Identify normal changes with aging of the nervous system (such as vision).
- Discuss anatomic and histologic changes associated with aging of the nervous system (such as cerebellum)
- Discuss pathology associated with normal aging and age associated diseases of the nervous system (such as primary progressive aphasia, frontal lobe dysfunction, Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, depression, tremor in basal ganglia movement disorders, essential tremor, parkinsonism, Bell’s palsy, Horner’s syndrome).
