Geriatric Objectives:
- Discuss reasons for higher predisposition of the older adults to infection.
- Identify presentation of infections in older adults.
- Discuss infections of the older adult such as infective endocarditis, bacteremia or sepsis, fever of unknown origin and HIV.
- Identify immunizations in the older adult.
