Geriatric Objectives:

1. Discuss reasons for higher predisposition of the older adults to infection.
   
   
2. Identify presentation of infections in older adults.
   
   
3. Discuss infections of the older adult such as infective endocarditis, bacteremia or sepsis, fever of unknown origin and HIV.
   
   
4. Identify immunizations in the older adult.
